Course Description:
This is an annual in service training in dementia and will provide a 8 hours comprehensive view of dementia with emphasis on nutrition, hydration, activities and caregiving supports for staffs in assisted living. This course include course material, handouts, activities, discussion, case studies, review and examination. Participants will be awarded with certificate of completion upon completion of all requirement of the course. Four (4) 10- minute breaks will be provided.

Course Description:
This course will provide a 8 hours comprehensive view of the medication administration which is required for medication staffs in assisted living. This course include course material, handouts, activities and examination. Participants will be awarded with certificate of completion upon completion of all requirement of the course. This course is mainly on theory and will not have skill validation by use of the medication Administration skill checklists. The skill check off portion of the course will be from a separation course. Two (4) 10- minute breaks will be provided.
